About the Chief
Brian Hettinger is currently the Fire Chief for the City of Fremont. He has been a member of our firefighting team since January 1998. He was voted by the department as Lieutenant in 2000, Assistant Chief in 2005 and appointed Interim Chief in October 2010 by the City Council. He is also the City of Fremont’s Department of Public Works Superintendent.
