Fremont Dog Park

The City of Fremont has established a fenced-in, off-leash dog park where well behaved dogs can play and exercise as long as the dog has adult human supervision.  Dog owners are responsible and liable for the actions and behavior of their dogs at all times.

The Fremont Dog Park is open to residents in the Fremont Community.  It is located on South Lake Drive on Oak Street.  The Park is open every day from dawn to dusk, Monday through Sunday, year round.

Within the Park there are two fenced-in play areas, one for smaller and young dogs, and one for large, mature dogs.  The Park has a few amenities, such as benches and trash receptacles with doggy waste bags.  Dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs.  The City will seek additional amenities for the Park through grants and gifts if the Park proves to be a valued asset within the Community.

There will be regular maintenance of the Park by the City of Fremont.  This includes but is not limited to lawn care and doggy refuse pick-up.  During those times, the Park may be temporarily closed.
