How do we operate?
We are organized under a Council/Manager
form of government. The Mayor and four Council members
are elected at
large and constitute the legislative body of the
City. The Mayor acts as the City's Chief Executive
Officer. The Council appoints the City Manager
who remains responsible to the Council and acts as
Chief
Administrative Officer. The City Manager in turn
supervises the various department heads that coordinate
and provide the many services enjoyed by our citizens.

Budget
The City Manager is responsible for submitting the Budget to the City Council as well as assisting the Finance Officer with preparation of the annual budget and ensuring the proper administration of the budget.
