We are committed to keeping our community safe from fire damage. In fact, our team engages in firefighting in addition to their full-time jobs! We provide services to all or part of five surrounding townships on a contractual basis, including fire suppression, vehicle and personal injury accidents, rescues, fire prevention, downed power lines, smoke and carbon monoxide investigations and more.
Being part of a fire department requires much time and dedication - last year we had 543 calls. Yet it is extremely rewarding, and we are proud to serve you. Notably, property owners in the City of Fremont enjoy a Class Six fire insurance rating, one of the lowest of any part-time fire department in Michigan!
Please stop by our station – we would be glad to show you our trucks and explain more about our department.
