City Manager Yonker reported the Fremont Area Joint Planning Commission will hold a public forum on June 12, 2006, to educate Fremont area residents of the current status and planning efforts related the proposed Fremont Community Joint Planning Agreement. The Forum will be held at 7:00 PM in the community room of the Fremont Area District Library. He also noted Mr. Steve Langworthy, of LSL Planning, will give a presentation at 5:30 PM on the newly combined Michigan Zoning Act, whereas all area planning commissioners, ZBA members & governing body members are invited and encouraged to attend.
The City Manager also reported Sheridan Township resident Ms. Jackie Howard, of 6450 Lake Drive, has requested permission to disconnect from the City’s sanitary sewer system, whereas she would connect to Sheridan Township’s sanitary sewer district system.
