Dock space rental will terminate Sunday, September 26, 2010, to allow City crews sufficient time to remove docks prior to other fall duties.

RULES FOR CAMPERS AT FREMONT LAKE PARK

  • "CAUTION": Trailer sites have City water pressure of approximately 100 pounds per square inch.  A water pressure regulator is advisable if trailer is not already equipped with regulated pressure.
  • All dogs and other pets must be on a leash at all times.  All dog excrement to be removed immediately.
  • ONLY ONE TRAILER OR CAMPER is permitted on each leased lot.  The tongue of the trailer must face the internal Campground street.
  • No loud or boisterous noises will be tolerated.
  • Parking in roadways is prohibited; vehicles must be parked on your own lot.  Campers’ parking in the boat launch parking area is prohibited.  If Manager must have vehicles or boat trailers moved the Manager is not responsible for any damage to them.
  • Motorists must observe posted speed limits within the park.  Caution should be used at all times, as there are children present throughout the Campground.  Utility vehicles, such as golf carts, may only be operated by persons aged 19 or older during day light hours and only within the Campground.  Utility vehicles are not permitted anywhere else in Fremont Lake Park, on public streets or on the non-motorized Town & Country PathException is made only for those utility vehicles transporting occupants whom the Secretary of State has designated as handicapped, and only on that city-designated route between the campground and the boat dock area.  Said utility vehicles may cross the public highway after coming to a complete stop and only at a 90 degree angle.
  • Each lot must be kept free of trash and litter.
  • All personal garbage must be sealed in plastic garbage bags (no paper bags) prior to disposal in dumpster.  Disposal of personal garbage from outside the park is not permitted.
  • All fish wastes must be wrapped in plastic bags (not newspaper) and deposited in freezer provided for fish wastes.
  • The City of Fremont is not responsible or liable for damage or theft of any items not belonging to the City.
  • Children should use the adjacent playgrounds for play.  NO play should occur in the roadways.
  • Hanging laundry out-of-doors is prohibited, except on the clothesline provided by the Campground.  All electrical appliances are to be enclosed in add-a-rooms or similar approved enclosures.  Refrigerators located outside the trailer shall not exceed 6 cubic feet.
  • Checkout time is 3:00 p.m. - NO REFUNDS.
  • Per City Ordinance, NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE PERMITTED IN THE PARK OR CAMPGROUND AREAS.
  • No open fires or bonfires are permitted on the ground.  Any fire must be in a container at least 10 inches above the ground.  Dead coals must be emptied into the garbage can.
  • Anyone destroying property will be held liable and will also be asked to vacate the premises.
  • One picnic table per lot allowed.
  • No sheds are permitted in the Campground.  One plastic (or rubber) storage bin, no larger than 4’(h) x 5’(w) x 3’(d) is permitted.
  • Tents are not permitted on campsites where a trailer or tent already exists.
  • No trailer shall exceed thirty-five (35) feet in length except on Lots No. 1-30 and Lot 36 where trailers up to forty (40) feet in length are permitted.
  • Decks or outside porch enclosures are not to extend more than eight (8’) feet from the trailer.  (Exception: Those installed prior to 2005)
  • Use only roadways for walking through the Campground.  Observe courtesy by not crossing through other occupied lots.
  • SUBLETTING of trailers on Campground lots is not permitted.
  • If a trailer is sold, the new owner does not have first option to that lot.  The Park Manager keeps a current availability list.
  • If you have a boat trailer on your lot, it must be parked parallel with your trailer and no closer than three (3) feet from a back lot line.  Additional or offsite boat trailer parking will be permitted only in the designated area of the Department of Public Works yard off Oak Street.  Access times will be Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM.  Trailers, either with or without boats, shall not be parked or stored outside the Campground perimeter fence.
  • Overnight storage of visitor's recreational vehicles on your or any other lot in the Campground is prohibited.
  • Winter storage is for trailers, storage bins and decks only.  Boats may be stored on a separate leased lot during the winter with payment of an additional winter storage fee.  Any other items left after November 1st will be removed and disposed of without further notice.
  • Seasonal campers must keep trailer insurance current and a copy of the certificate on file with the Manager.  (Contact your insurance agency and have the City of Fremont notified of yearly renewals).
  • No bicycle riding after dark.
