Ideas on Design of Fremont Neighborhoods
Presented to Community
On a beautiful weekend in June the City of Fremont hosted the Fremont Neighborhood Design Charrette. Many ideas on how the neighborhoods within Fremont should be developed were communicated at that meeting. Consultants from Ferrell Madden Associates and LSL Planning are returning to Fremont to present their conceptual ideas regarding neighborhood development and to verify the preferences conveyed to them by citizens during the Design Charrette. At the follow-up meeting, citizens can offer additional suggestions or refine the presented concepts. Once the consultant’s findings are ratified or modified, the zoning ordinance development will proceed. All Fremont area citizens are encouraged to attend the Charrette follow-up meeting, which will take place on Tuesday, August 23, from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
